Premise: Seeking answers about her mother’s past leads a teen to a magical realm where she must learn to wield a rare magic to keep ravenous monsters at bay in this whimsically imagined young adult fantasy.

I have always said that YA and Fantasy/Romantasy are my two favorite genres.  Those two elements combined? Unstoppable.  And that is exactly what Blood of Silver is.  A book I could NOT put down!

I loved everything about this book.  Then absolute unique world building, the magic, the characters.  The political intrigue and banter between the characters gave me that same feeling I had when reading The Cruel Prince, so you know I am here for this book. I mean with lines like “My chaos. My undoing. I thought I’d never see you again.” how can you not think that?!?!

I completely eat up books with trial and magic systems every time I find one, and I’m so glad I could count this one in. I’m sorry I waited so long to pick it up! Linh and Elior have this amazing dynamic throughout the story and I cannot wait until the next book comes out.  I’ll just be over here twiddling my thumbs until it does.
